       Ever since he was a kid. Roland Davis had always wanted to be a superhero. Of course, this isn’t anything special. Every kid wants to be a superhero at some point in their life. They’ll see superman and imagine how cool it would be to soar above the rooftops of even the tallest buildings or to shoot lasers out of their eyes and stop bad guys with plots of world dominance. But Roland wanted something different. He wanted super powers so that he could help and save people. Not from alien invaders or supervillains, but from more realistic disasters. If he had super strength, he would use it to clear rubble from earthquake disaster areas. If he had super speed, he would use it to get clean water and food to places without any. Yellow sun grazes Sanaa’s face. It is the sun that she longs for when it isn’t present. The sun that motivates and pushes her towards the truth. She wakes up. A yawn. A smile. She’s home.
